I have joined as a Research Associate with Dr. Srai at Centre for International Manufacturing on 15^th January, 2018. Before that, I worked as a Research Associate with Prof. Alexei Lapkin at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. I completed my PhD from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India.

In my past position, I was working for the development of a tool for automated model generation as a part of EPSRC project that is aimed towards advances in automated synthesis planning and automated process design. In addition to this, I looked into the process development of pharmaceutical drugs and polymers from paper industry waste by means of modeling and simulation wherein I collaborated with chemists and supply chain engineers from University of Bath and Institute for Manufacturing, respectively, to develop the most promising continuous flow process for the same. I also worked on integration of process models with life cycle assessment (LCA) facilitating multi-objective optimization.

In this new position at IfM, I plan to utilize my skills in process modelling and simulation as a part of team working on project that aims at developing more responsive and cost effective production processes and supply chains for medicines.

Apart from research, I contributed as one of the editors to the departmental newsletter, CEB Focus. I enjoy listening to music and have a passion for singing.
