
Prior to joining Cambridge, Ian had 35 years of industry experience, working at senior levels in multinational companies such as Dell, Philips and Groupe Bull, as well as setting up and running small and mid-sized technology and consulting businesses in the USA and the UK.
He has a strong interest in Innovation and Change and works with Business Modelling and Innovation researchers at the IfM and the Centre helping and advising in the development of new models and tools. He has considerable experience in delivering business model, innovation and value analysis workshops to industry and other sectors.
Other responsibilities include the management of marketing and administrative activities, the recruitment and relationship management of new industry and academic partners and the development of international collaborations. He also has particular interest in the development of guides and tools for industry.
