Before joining IfM ECS, Clemens was a PhD student at the IfM’s Centre for Technology Management.
Background
Previously, Clemens was working in the aerospace & defence sector and later joined a technology consultancy where he advised large OEMs in the automotive sector. His work included R&D process optimisation, requirements management and project management advisory. He was the head of several expert teams within the consultancy and was also involved in business development.
In addition to his PhD, Clemens also holds two Master degrees in Aerospace Engineering (MEng) and Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management (MPhil) from Kingston University and the University of Cambridge respectively.
Clemens is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
